This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Cogito ergo sum (the "App"). If you do not agree with this Policy, do not use the App.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

The publisher collects absolutely no data from the App. Specifically:

No Accounts: There are no user accounts, sign-ins, or profiles.
No Servers: We operate no back-end infrastructure for the App.
No Telemetry: There is no analytics SDK, crash-reporting SDK, or telemetry in the App.
No Personal Information: We do not collect or receive your score, progress, device information, or any personal data.

2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

To function, the App stores the following data locally in Android's standard private per-application storage:

Best score and best wave reached.
Your Wisdom balance and which permanent upgrades have been purchased.
One saved run in progress (if the save-and-quit feature is used).
Sound and aiming-mode settings, unlockable status, and advert reward counters.
Advertising consent choices, stored by Google's User Messaging Platform.

None of this data is transmitted anywhere. It contains no name, email address, account identifier, or personal information.

Backups are disabled: The App deliberately excludes all of its stored data from Google cloud backup and Android device-to-device transfer. This means that if you uninstall the App, clear its data, or change devices, all your progress is permanently lost. It cannot be recovered by you or by us.

3. Advertising

The only mechanism by which any information leaves your device is through advertising.

The App shows rewarded adverts only. There are no banner adverts or pop-ups. Adverts are only shown when you explicitly choose to watch one in exchange for an in-game reward.

Adverts are supplied by Google AdMob. When an advert is requested, Google acts as an independent data controller and may collect:

Your device's advertising ID (which you can reset in your device settings).
Your IP address and approximate location derived from it.
Device and operating-system information (model, OS version, language).
Advert interaction data.

We do not receive any of this data. We only see aggregate, anonymous reporting (such as total impressions and revenue).

4. Advertising Consent

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request your consent before any advert request is made. If consent is declined, no advert is ever requested and the game plays normally.

Users in these regions can change their choice at any time through the "PRIVACY OPTIONS" button on the credits screen. Outside these regions, users can limit advert personalization through Android's system settings.

5. The Website

Our promotional website (ivdigital.co) is served through Cloudflare. We see only aggregate traffic statistics (unique visitors, total requests, pages requested) derived from standard web-request data at Cloudflare's network edge. There is no analytics tracking script on our website, and no analytics or advertising cookies are set.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect App updates. Material changes will be notified by updating the Effective Date of this policy. Continued use of the App after the Effective Date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
